This cutting-edge training program in the field of rare vascular diseases is open to medical students and post-doctoral researchers enrolled at universities in EU member states.

It is worth 3 ECTS credits.

Visit VASCERN Summer School 2024 began on Monday 23rd. On Wednesday, Dr Annouk Bisdorff Bresson, Dr Olivia Boccara, Dr Julien Coulie and Prof Laurence Boon presented vascular anomalies.

They discussed topics such as combined syndromes, the causes of vascular anomalies and new targeted treatments. Petra Borgards, ambassador of VASCA's European Patient Advocacy Group, shared the patient perspective, reminding students of the essential role they play in improving care. There were some 50 participants from all over Europe.
