The national coordinating center for
Rare Superficial Vascular Anomalies
The multi-disciplinary team from the departments of Lariboisière, Bichat and Necker hospitals has just been accredited by the French Ministry of Health as the National Coordinating Reference Center for Rare Diseases (CRMR) for Superficial Vascular Anomalies.
The center is part of the FAVA-Multi network, the healthcare network for rare vascular diseases with multi-system involvement.
Working closely with associations, patients and other players in the rare disease network, the Paris team coordinates and strengthens the network of 2 centers of reference and 12 centers of expertise (CCMR) that have been relabelled or newly accredited for these diseases.
The program aims to"improve the coordination of care and the uniformity of patient care across the country, and to develop research".
