The National Coordinating Center for Rare Superficial Vascular Anomalies
The multidisciplinary team from the departments of Lariboisière, Bichat, and Necker hospitals has just been designated by the Ministry as the National Coordinating Reference Center for Rare Diseases (CRMR) for Superficial Vascular Anomalies.
The center is part of the FAVA-Multi network, the healthcare network for rare vascular diseases with multi-systemic involvement
In collaboration with associations, patients, and other stakeholders in the rare diseases network, the Parisian team coordinates and strengthens the network of 2 reference centers and 12 competence centers (CCMR) that have been re-accredited or newly accredited for these diseases.
The program aims to: improve care coordination and standardize patient management throughout the country, and develop research.
